COLUMBIA, S.C. - A woman who developed mesothelioma, allegedly after being exposed to the asbestos her father brought home from a South Carolina factory, can pursue her claim in that state even though she was diagnosed with the disease years after moving to Virginia, a state appeals court has ruled. Murphy v. Owens Corning Fiberglas Corp., et al., No. 3354 (S.C. Ct. App.).
