WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A Florida appeals court has ordered Union Carbide to pay 90 percent of a $1.8 million verdict awarded to a former drywaller with asbestosis after jurors allocated the majority of fault to three defendants who were no longer parties to the case. Lagueux v. Union Carbide Corp., No. 4D03-383 (Fla. Ct. App., Fourth Dist.).
