Claims continue to pour in at an extraordinary rate, scores of employers have been forced into bankruptcy, and payments to the sick are threatened. This term, the Court has an important opportunity to address the crisis in Norfolk & Western Railway Co. v. Freeman Ayers et al., No. 01-963.
