LEXINGTON, Miss.- A group of asbestos plaintiffs have filed a $200 million lawsuit against their former attorneys, claiming they never received their rightful share of what counsel said at the time was the largest settlement ever negotiated in an asbestos case. Lipsey, et al. v. Langston, et al. No. 2003-392 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Holmes Cty.).
In an impassioned complaint, penned as "tears were falling" from the drafter's eyes, the plaintiffs demand that their former attorneys be admonished for their alleged role in defrauding them of millions in settlement proceeds.
