OAKLAND, Calif. –– A mistrial has been declared in an asbestos cosmetic talcum powder trial after parties informed the court that the plaintiff had entered hospice and that his passing was “imminent,” sources confirmed to HarrisMartin Publishing.

According to minutes entered Nov. 2 by the California Superior Court for Alameda County, “counsel inform[ed] the court of his client’s medical condition and move[d] for a mistrial.”
