N.Y. Appellate Court Allows Plaintiffs Additional Time to Perfect Appeal of Forum Decision in Asbestos-Talc Case

NEW YORK –– A New York appellate court has given the plaintiffs until March 2021 to perfect the consolidated appeals concerning forum decisions issued in three asbestos cosmetic talcum powder cases, according to a recent notice issued by the court.

In an Oct. 13 notice, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, explained that the plaintiffs had moved for an extension of time in which to perfect the consolidated appeals in all three actions.
