N.Y. Appellate Court Affirms $7 Million Verdict Against Jenkins Bros. in Asbestos Case

ROCHESTER, N.Y. –– A New York appellate court has affirmed a $7 million verdict entered at the conclusion of an asbestos case against Jenkins Bros., concluding that the plaintiffs had proffered enough evidence to establish specific causation during trial.

In the Oct. 9 order, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department, also rejected the plaintiffs’ contention that the court erred when not listing her loss of future household services as a separate line item on the verdict form.
