COLUMBIA, S.C. –– It was revealed during a recent hearing that more than 20 motions for sanctions are pending in the South Carolina September asbestos trial docket, alleging that defendants have present unprepared 30(b)(6) witnesses for depositions.

According to a transcript from a Sept. 10 hearing before Hon. Jean H. Toal in the South Carolina Court of Common Pleas for Richland County, the court entertained a variety of motions, including those attacking personal jurisdiction and for protective order.
