Paint Companies Get Verdicts in Asbestos-Related Cancer Cases

DALLAS, Texas - A Texas jury has entered a finding of no liability in favor of two paint companies who plaintiffs claimed manufactured the asbestos-containing products that caused them to develop lung and colon cancer. Clancy v. Kelly Moore Paint Co., et al., No. 67-187248-01 (Texas Dist. Ct., Tarrant Cty.).
In a verdict rendered June 27, the Tarrant County District Court jury found that Kelly Moore Paint Co. and Sherwin-Williams Co. were not liable for the plaintiffs' alleged asbestos-related injuries.
