Court Denies Petition to Review California Asbestos Joint Liability Ruling

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court has denied review of a Court of Appeal decision that rejected plaintiff's attempts asbestos cases to assign liability to a defendant under a theory of civil conspiracy involving several defendants who for years allegedly hid the harmful nature of their products. Chavers, et al. v. Gatke Corp., No. A092551 (Calif. Ct. App., First Dist.).
