Jury Awards Nearly $10 Million to Family of Contract Machinist

HOUSTON - A Texas jury has awarded nearly $10 million to the family of a man who died from mesothelioma allegedly caused by his exposure to asbestos at a facility owned by Dow Chemical Co. Burnett, et al. v. AlliedSignal, Inc., et al., No. 2001-36408 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).
