N.Y. Court Denies 2 Defendants Summary Judgment in Electrician’s Asbestos Case

NEW YORK –– A New York trial court has denied two defendants summary judgment in an asbestos case, finding that the plaintiffs have sufficient raised issues of fact.

In the Oct. 28 order, the New York Supreme Court for New York County further opined that the plaintiffs were not required to show the precise causes of their injury “only ‘facts and conditions from which defendants’ liability may be reasonably inferred.’”
