Pa. Court Compels Lockheed Martin to Answer Certain Interrogatories in Asbestos Case

PHILADELPHIA –– A Pennsylvania federal court has ordered Lockheed Martin to answer certain interrogatories in an asbestos case, finding in part that the company gave “incomplete” responses to discovery requests.

In the July 25 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in part directed the company to “respond more specifically, identifying dates and relevant communications to the best of its ability after a reasonable search.”

The court did also reject the motion to compel in certain areas, finding with regard to one interrogatory that the plaintiffs’ request was overbroad.
