ALBANY, N.Y. - A New York state appeals court has affirmed a lower court decision that effectively rendered Sears, Roebuck & Company wholly responsible for a $1.5 million asbestos verdict awarded to an former electrician diagnosed with mesothelioma. Plumb v. ACandS, Inc., et al., No. 92517 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., App. Div., Third Dist.).
