MARYSVILLE, Ohio - Several Ohio railroad workers who claim they handled asbestos-containing vermiculite ore at a Scotts Company fertilizer plant have sued the company for injuries allegedly caused by the exposures. Adams, et al. v. The Scotts Company, No. 03cv0042 (Ohio Comm. Pls., Union Cty.).
In a lawsuit filed recently in Union County Common Pleas Court, each of the 39 plaintiffs is requesting in excess of $25,000 for injuries they allegedly suffered as business invitees of Scotts.
