UNR Claimants Respond to 'ad hoc Attacks' on Plaintiffs' Firm

CHICAGO - Plaintiffs who recently alleged that they've been shorted by bankrupt defendant UNR Industries' trust distribution process allege in documents filed recently that trust representatives are now ignoring substantive issues raised by asbestos claimants in their attempt to terminate the trust. In Re: UNR Industries, Inc., No. 82 B 9841-9845 (N.D. Ill., Bankr.).

In a reply brief filed in support of its motion to terminate, the plaintiffs allege that UNR representatives have instead focused on ad hoc attacks on Kelley & Ferraro, the law firm that initially sought its termination.
