Jury Awards Garlock Defense Verdict in Lung Cancer Case

CONROE, Texas - A jury in Texas has refused to award damages to a plaintiff who claimed that his lung cancer was the result of a synergism between smoking and his exposure to an asbestos-containing gasket product manufactured by Garlock, Inc. LRoy v. Able Supply Company, et al., No. 00-10-06613 (Texas Dist. Ct., Montgomery Cty.).
