Rockwell Automation Denies Summary Judgment in Asbestos Case Concerning Electrical Parts

NEW YORK –– A New York state court has rejected efforts by Rockwell Automation to obtain summary judgment, finding that the plaintiffs had presented sufficient evidence to establish the likelihood that the decedent was exposed to asbestos fibers in electrical products.
In a decision reached earlier this year, the New York Supreme Court for New York County relied partly on a deposition from a separate case in reaching its decision.
