Pa. Appellate Court Affirms Summary Judgment Awards for General Electric and CBS Corp.

PHILADELPHIA –– A Pennsylvania appellate court has affirmed the award of summary judgment to two asbestos defendants in a railroad exposure case, finding no error with the trial court’s conclusion that it would be improper speculation to find that the defendants’ products at issue in the case contained asbestos.

In the June 12 opinion, the Pennsylvania Superior Court affirmed the order awarding summary judgment to General Electric Co. and CBS Corp.
