Wash. Jury Reaches Defense Verdict for John Crane in Case Involving Asbestos-Containing Packing Products

SEATTLE –– A Washington jury has reached a defense verdict in favor of John Crane, rejecting claims that the decedent’s work with the defendant’s asbestos-containing packing products caused him to develop mesothelioma.

The Washington Superior Court for King County jury reached the verdict on March 15. John Crane, named for its role as a sealing product manufacturer, was the lone remaining defendant at the time of the verdict.
