Del. Court Denies Crane Co.’s Efforts to Toss Plaintiff Expert Reports in Asbestos Case

WILMINGTON, Del. –– A Delaware federal court has denied a defendant’s efforts to toss expert reports proffered on behalf of plaintiffs in an asbestos case, finding that the experts were poised to testify as to issue relevant to the lone remaining cause of action for conspiracy.
In the March 14 order, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware found, in part, that the experts were poised to provide some testimony as to Crane Co.’s knowledge about asbestos and alleged harms.
