4th Circuit Declines Jurisdiction over Asbestos-Related Appeal, Says Court Decision Not Reviewable

RICHMOND, Va. –– The 4th Circuit U.S Court of Appeals has declined jurisdiction over an asbestos-related appeal, finding that a District Court’s order severing and remanding state law claims was not reviewable.

In the Oct. 24 order, the appellate court further found that the defendant had failed to show how its failure to review the order would endanger “a substantial public interest” or “some particular value of high order.”
