ABA Adopts Recommendations to Limit Asbestos Claims
Amid Oposition from ATLA

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The American Bar Association has voted overwhelmingly to approve a recommendation, calling for the development of a new standard for filing non-malignant asbestos claims. photo-1 The ABA's House of Delegates voted by a margin of 70 percent to 30 percent in favor of adopting the recommendation and report submitted earlier this month by the group's Commission on Asbestos Litigation.
But, the vote didn't go off without opposition.
