SCHENECTADY, N.Y. –– A New York trial court has rejected post-trial motions filed in the wake of a $3.2 million asbestos verdict entered against valve manufacturer Jenkins Brothers Co., concluding that “substantial justice was achieved in this trial.”
In a four-page May 12 order, the N.Y. Supreme Court for the County of Schenectady rejected the defendant’s challenges to jury instructions and admissible evidence.
