Dallas Jury Awards $8.8 Million at Conclusion of Asbestos Case Against Bell Helicopter

DALLAS – A Dallas jury has awarded $8.8 million to the plaintiffs in an asbestos case against Bell Helicopter, agreeing with the plaintiffs that the decedent’s former employer should have provided respiratory protection that would have prevented the inhalation of asbestos fibers.
The Texas 95th District Court in Dallas reached the verdict on March 27 after a week-long trial and five hours of deliberations, sources told HarrisMartin.
