NYCAL Special Master Rejects Challenges to Inclusion of Asbestos-Containing Talc Case on In Extremis Docket




NEW YORK – The Special Master overseeing New York City’s coordinated asbestos docket has denied challenges to the inclusion of an asbestos-containing talc case in the in extremis docket saying the plaintiff’s visits to his father’s workplace as a child constituted sufficient contacts with the city, despite the fact that none of the defendants tied to that alleged exposure are involved in the case.
