Bankrupt Asbestos Defendant Says Case Is Too Complex, Moves to Extend Filing Deadlines

WILMINGTON, Del. - W.R. Grace & Co. has asked the bankruptcy court where its Chapter 11 petition is pending to extend the deadline for filing its reorganization plan. In Re: W.R. Grace & Co., et al., No. 01-1139 (D. Del. Bankr.).
The specialty chemicals manufacturer, which filed for Chapter 11 protection last April, has already had its original deadline for filing a reorganization plan extended from August.
