Texas Court Tosses Asbestos, Mold Exposure Suit, Says Claims are Time-Barred

SHERMAN, Texas –– A Texas federal court has found that a suit alleging both asbestos and mold exposure is time-barred since the plaintiff had discovered there was a causal connection between her ailments and her working conditions more than two years before filing the complaint.
In the Aug. 31 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas awarded the defendants summary judgment, citing a May 2012 letter in which the plaintiff wrote to the defendants complaining about her current working conditions.
