Missouri Jury Reaches Defense Verdict for 3 Defendants at Conclusion of Take-Home Asbestos Trial

ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri jury has reached a defense verdict for Volkswagen Group of America, Ford Motor Co., and Honeywell, rejecting a plaintiff’s take-home asbestos exposure claims, sources told HarrisMartin.

The defense verdict was reached by the Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court for St. Louis City on Sept. 9 after approximately six hours of deliberations.

Judge Steven Ohmer presided over the trial, which lasted a month, sources told HarrisMartin. Defendants Volkswagen, Ford Motor Co., and Honeywell were remaining at the time of the verdict.
