WILMINGTON, Del. –– A Delaware magistrate judge has recommended that summary judgment be awarded to nine defendants named in an asbestos action, opining that the plaintiffs had failed to sufficiently identify products manufactured by the companies and that parties cannot be held liable for products they did not manufacture or sell.

In the July 13 report and recommendation, Magistrate Judge Sherry R. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware wrote that, in part, that the “lack of specificity in [the plaintiff’s] testimony is insufficient to show causation.”
