TRENTON, N.J. -- The New Jersey Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against asbestos defendant W.R. Grace, claiming that the company has withheld information about the asbestos contamination levels at a state plant. New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection v. W.R. Grace, et al., No. n/a (N.J. Super. Ct., Mercer Cty.).
The June 1 lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of New Jersey for Mercer County contends that the defendant violated the Spill Act and submitted false information regarding the asbestos dust released at the plant.
