CHICAGO - Plaintiffs' counsel in Ohio have moved to terminate an asbestos bankruptcy trust claiming it no longer exists for the benefit of personal injury claimants. In Re: UNR Industries, Inc., No. 82 B 9841-9845 (N.D. Ill., Bankr.).
The motion, filed Jan. 30 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, says instead that the trust has operated over the past year for the sole pecuniary benefit of UNR Trustees, administrative personnel, lawyers and consultants.
