MADISON, Wis. –– A Wisconsin federal court has awarded summary judgment to Weyerhaeuser Co. in five asbestos cases asserting claims against the company for non-occupational exposure, saying, in part, that the studies cited by the plaintiff experts only support a finding of substantial exposure for those that lived within 1.25 miles of the defendant’s facility.
