Calif. Appellate Court Hears Oral Arguments in Appeal of Defense Verdict for Subcontractor

LOS ANGELES –– The California Second District Court of Appeal has heard arguments pertaining to the appeal of a defense verdict, in which jurors found in favor of a subcontractor who was involved with a construction job 20 years before the plaintiff was allegedly exposed during a remodeling project.

According to the court’s online docket, the case was argued and submitted on Dec. 11.

The appeal arose out of a verdict reached by a California Superior Court for Los Angeles County jury in Oct. 2013, with jurors found in favor of E.F. Brady Company Inc.
