JACKSON, Miss. –– The Mississippi Supreme Court has reversed an order that denied a motion for summary judgment in an asbestos case, saying that the testimony of a plaintiff’s expert witness should have been excluded and, without that evidence, the claims are unsupported.

In its Dec. 10 order, the high court said that the plaintiff “lacks even a mere scintilla of evidence of exposure, and there is a complete absence of probative facts supporting her claim.”
