N.J. Court Awards Summary Judgment to 5 Asbestos Defendants; Motions were Unopposed

NEWARK, N.J. –– A New Jersey federal court has awarded summary judgment to a number of defendants named in an asbestos suit, finding in part that the plaintiff had failed to establish that he was exposed to asbestos-containing products manufactured or supplied by the defendants.

In the Dec. 3 opinion, the U.S. District Court for the District Court of New Jersey noted that the plaintiff indicated that he did not oppose the motions.
