Georgia Supreme Court Agrees to Hear Dispute Regarding Admissibility of ‘Each and Every Exposure’ Testimony

ATLANTA –– The Georgia Supreme Court has granted a writ of certiorari in a case involving a dispute over whether a trial court erroneously allowed “each and every” exposure testimony during an asbestos trial.

The state high court issued an order granting the writ on Sept. 8 and placed the case on the Jan. 2016 oral argument calendar.

In doing so, the Supreme Court agreed to hear arguments relating to the question of whether a $4 million asbestos verdict against Scapa Dryer Fabrics Inc. should have been affirmed.
