NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana federal court excluded “every exposure above background” testimony from an asbestos plaintiff’s expert just one day before the parties reached a settlement agreement, according to recent court documents.

According to an Aug. 5 order entered in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the court was advised by counsel for the parties that all of the parties had “firmly agreed upon a compromise.”
