Louisiana Court Retains Jurisdiction over Case Involving Asbestos in Boeing Engines

NEW ORLEANS –– A Louisiana federal court has refused to remand an asbestos exposure lawsuit, finding that the government did not just provide the specifications on the engines with which the decedent worked, but provided the exact language.
In the July 14 opinion, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana further found that in some cases the U.S. Government provided the warning language on the product in question.
