BALTIMORE –– A Maryland court has awarded summary judgment to two defendants in an asbestos case involving brake products, concluding in part that the brakes in question contained an OSHA-compliant warning.
In the June 12 memorandum, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland further opined that the plaintiff failed to produce evidence that brakes manufactured by Bendix and sold by Earl’s Discount Auto Parts were a “substantial factor” in the development of his injury.
