Wis. Court Orders Asbestos Defendant to Produce Evidence of Contact with Owens-Illinois

MADISON, Wis. –– A Wisconsin federal court has issued an order addressing a number of motions to compel in eight pending asbestos cases, ruling in part that the defendant must produce documents relating to its contact with Owens-Illinois.

In the June 4 order, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin denied the plaintiffs’ motions to compel in all other aspects.

According to the order, the court held a telephonic hearing on a number of pending discovery motions in eight pending asbestos cases.
