WILMINGTON, Del. –– A magistrate judge in Delaware has recommended that the federal court overseeing an asbestos case enter summary judgment awards in favor of nine defendants, noting that the plaintiffs had indicated that they did not oppose the dismissal efforts.

In the April 24 report and recommendation, U.S. Magistrate Judge Sherry R. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware noted that the parties could object to the report within 14 days of its filing.
