Parties in MARDOC Proceedings Hold Conference, Designate Liaison Counsel in Asbestos Docket

CLEVELAND –– Parties involved with the maritime docket pending in the Northern District of Ohio have picked liaison counsel and agreed to the dismissal of a number of manufacturing defendants as the result of a recent conference.

According to the minutes of a March 16 conference held in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the parties agreed to the dismissal with prejudice of manufacturing defendants General Refractories Inc., and IMO Industries Inc.
