Wife Awarded $11.5 Million in Take-Home Asbestos Case

SAN FRANCISCO - A jury in California has awarded more than $11 million to a woman who developed mesothelioma, allegedly after years of exposure to asbestos her husband brought home on his work clothing. Gunderson v. A.W. Chesteron Co., et al., No. 406207 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
The San Francisco County Superior Court jury rendered the verdict Dec. 12 after three weeks of trial and three days of deliberation.
