Judge Peter Moulton Replaces Judge Sherry Klein Heitler as New York City Asbestos Judge

NEW YORK –– Hon. Peter H. Moulton has been tapped to succeed Hon. Sherry Klein Heitler as the Administrative Judge in charge of New York City’s asbestos docket, according to a press release.

In a March 2 release, Chief Administrative Judge A. Gail Prudenti said that Judge Heitler has reached the “mandatory retirement age as Administrative Judge and will be taking on the role of the court system’s Chief of Policy Planning.”

The appointment of Judge Moulton to the asbestos docket was effective immediately.
