Louisiana Court Refuses to Preclude Testimony from William Dyson in Asbestos Case

NEW ORLEANS –– Union Carbide may present testimony from its industrial hygienist, William Dyson, Ph.D., in an asbestos case, a Louisiana Court has ruled after finding that the plaintiff could address concerns relating to dose reconstruction assessment methodologies on cross-examination.

In the Feb. 11 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana found that Dyson’s testimony relating to the decedent’s exposure at a Union Carbide facility was relevant.
