Northern District of Ohio Outlines Plan for Handling 2,600 Remanded Asbestos Cases

CLEVELAND –– The chief judge in the Northern District of Ohio has issued an order outlining his plan for handling an anticipated 2,600 asbestos cases that are scheduled to make their way back to the Ohio federal court from the federal asbestos multidistrict litigation docket.

In the Feb. 5 order, Chief Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio said that all judges across the district are ready to handle the trial-ready cases.
