MDL Judge Remands 50 MARDOC Asbestos Cases to Ohio for Trial

PHILADELPHIA –– The judge overseeing the national coordinated asbestos docket has remanded 50 maritime cases, saying that all discovery has been completed and the court had adjudicated all outstanding motions.
In the Nov. 24 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said that the cases are prepared for trial without delay, subject to any trial-related in limine motions.
The remand order sent the 50 cases back to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio “for resolution of all matters pending within each case.”
