CLEVELAND — A state appeals court has upheld the admissibility of expert testimony linking asbestos exposure and Hodgkin’s lymphoma, affirming a verdict in favor of an Ohio man who was diagnosed with the disease after working for more than two decades at a Ford Motor Co. plant.
In an opinion issued Sept. 25, the Eight District Ohio Court of Appeals rejected Ford’s contention that causation evidence presented on behalf of its former employee lacked any medical or scientific support that could have otherwise justified the jury’s award.
