Ala. Federal Court Enforces Duty on Premises Defendant in Take-Home Asbestos Exposure Suit

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –– A court in Alabama has weighed in for the first time on the liability of a premises defendant in a take-home asbestos exposure suit, determining that a duty of care can in fact be enforced on the company since the policy considerations in recognizing such a duty do not outweigh the foreseeability of the injury.
